That sounds like fun. I used to sing with my friends pretty often back home.

[She's still not sure quite what it was that made that happen. Maybe something in Equestria just encourages breaking out into song.

Maybe it's the fact that she didn't have monotonous background music droning in her ears all the time back home.]

My friend Connie and I would have jam sessions together all the time! She can sing too, and play the violin.

Oh! And my dad, too! But he plays the guitar. And he taught me how to play my ukelele!

Pearl can play the violin, too...but Amethyst rocks at the drums, and Garnet is awesome with a synth! _{Well, a synth guitar, sooo...}

Well that's one percussion instrument, at least. Still, the brass and woodwinds sections must be feeling left out.
